So glad it all came together for you Darren. I think you and Gino deserve alot of the credit too. I never built a skating rink before and we all learned some things for next year.

No workout today ( scheduled day off)


This was probably my worst day for cheats of the whole Christmas break as we spent the day at my parents and had dinner there.

CHEATS: 6 (yesterday Jan 1)
2 vodka ceasers
1 nanaimo bar
1 butter tart
handfull of potato chips W/ french onion dip

The guilt and heartburn afterwards may make me reconsider next time.

AMRAP LPU's 5 sets 6 reps per set.
3 min AMRAP db hang squat clean thruster 45lbs each hand = 20 (10 unbroken, 5 and 5 unbroken)

Food intake is back to normally. We were very lucky this year Granny never brought her seasonal sweets. I just ate large volumes of the foods that I could eat. Back in the saddle again.

If anyone is going to be by a fitness store can someone pick up a couple of blocks of chalk. We are almost out. Thanks

3 x 800m sprints rest 3 min between sets:

Pace of the last round felt faster than round 2. I was surprised when the stopwatch indicated otherwise.

Running felt good though. I did it at the Spray Lakes Community Centre in Cochrane. $2.00 drop-in fee for those interested.

For time= 7:00.43 a minute better than last time.
50, 30, 20 of Anchored sit-ups and kneeling pushups.

Then did 100 Squats with 8 lb ball.

Was happy with bumping the weight up on the overhead squats. Maybe these shoulders are growing.
