In a properly executed front squat, the load is born entirely by the shoulders, and not at all by the hands and fingers.

WOD May 4th,

A1. Press. Push Press. Push Jerk, 1.3.5 x 4 sets, rest 10secs
Loads: 70lbs
A2. KBS - 24kg, 10-15 x 4 sets, rest 120sec - to eye level
Reps: 12/12/12/10

B. Unanchored Site ups, 10 reps x 7 sets

C. Push-up Burpees, 5 reps x 6 sets

Also practiced some of the movements for Friday, very happy that i can do walking lunges, box jumps and weighted front squats. Now i am really excited for the challenge on Friday!

yesterday i went and did some hot yoga with my sister and it was alot of fun. and i was quit impressed with my capability and how i was able to keep up with the class.
will definately go again.
today will practicing for the challenge, i'll see you all on the dance floor!

Challenge Preparation Workout
Deadlifts to get starting weight:
275# x 4reps in 30sec. Worked our way up to weight.
Chin-ups, SDLHP, Push Press, Front Squat, Burpees and of course single skipping practise.
Good work Judy, Arti(under estimator!!), Lisa and Allison.
Rest and eat well for Friday and as Allison says, "See you on the Dance Floor Ladies!!!!"
